Having been season ticket holders at MTC for many years, I can honestly say that the Company’s presentations are, on the whole, quite good.  Once and a while, there is a show that doesn’t appeal to me – and once in a while, they hit the jackpot.  This is the case with Tartuffe.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tartuffe and having just seen it at Sacramento Theatre Company a year and a half ago comparing the two productions was quite interesting. While MTC focused on physical comedy using the human body, STC’s production featured lots of slamming doors and characters running in and out of the room.
