What makes a good play for me?
A tight script; witty humor; good acting; good direction (timing, intonations, body language); good staging; my suspension of disbelief; and a total involvement during the play. Love Song had all that for me, in spite of some few minor criticisms I could mention.

Funny, poignant, thought-provoking [Love Song]

I found Love Song to be a wonderful production, funny, poignant, thought-provoking and very entertaining. Knowing that the play had premiered at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, and then went straight to London’s West End before coming directly here certainly raised expectations. Love Song did not disappoint.
