Emily Cooper is thrilled to be joining the MTC family for this season! She's a Bay Area native with over eighteen years of theatre and performance training, including five years of study at Oakland School for the Arts. She recently graduated from The University of the Arts with BFA in Directing, Playwriting, and Production. Emily has worked with California Shakespeare Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, and Theatre Philadelphia, and just finished assistant directing MTC's production of August Wilson's How I Learned What I Learned.
