Costume DesignerKara Harmon is a Costume Designer living in New York City. As a storyteller, her job is to enhance the emotional, historical and personal stories of each character. Kara’s work has been seen in theatre, film, television, commercials and events. She earned her MFA from Tisch School of the Arts for Design in Stage and Film and BFA from Ithaca College. Recent Costume Design credits include The Mountaintop (Trinity Rep) directed by Kent Gash, Barbecue (Geffen Playhouse) directed by Colman Domingo, Dot (Vineyard Theatre) directed by Susan Stroman, Ethel (Alliance Theatre) directed by Kenneth Roberson, Seven Guitars (Actor’s Theatre of Louisville) directed by Colman Domingo and Much Ado About Nothing (OSF) directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz.
