Edna Mira Raia
Sound DesignerEdna Miroslava Raia is a music-lover, sound designer and actor/comedian, who finds great satisfaction in exploring the obscured corners of the sentient experience. During her career in independent radio at the late college station, KUSF, Edna was exposed to an immense library of eclectic underground music and quickly taught herself how to emulate these influences to produce her own foley. For nine years, she has been producing sound for stage, radio & short films. Notable sound endeavors include multiple “Rising Voices” projects by incarcerated women and Michelle Maxson; For all the Babies’ Fathers, directed by Jessica Heidt; Hunter’s Point, directed by Christine Young; and more recently, Origins of Love, at the University of San Francisco. This is her second design production for director, Logan Ellis. Special thanks to Shena von Spronsen.
