Geno Monteiro is filled with gratitude to be working at MTC. His path as an actor began 17 years ago along side Julie Harris, at the Harwich Junior Theatre of Cape Cod. After working professionally in Los Angeles' television industry for ten years, it is fitting that his return home to the theatre begins in the service of young artists and audiences. Having received his MFA from UCSD's Graduate Actor Program, Geno moved to L.A. and worked in television, film and commercials. TV credits include: CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, Dexter, and NCIS. Geno has moved to the Bay Area to pursue the theatre that delights him and to serve the amazing students of Madison Park Academy in Oakland. To his beloved partner Amelia, Geno says "Better Together".
