ABOUT
Join Marin Theatre Company for a FREE public reading of new play in development.

An immigrant woman waits for the bus after a long day.
A man appears.
A man always appears.
And he has something to offer.

Spanning over 20 years and three different relationships, every scene is a little war between a man and a woman, both fighting for their best version of security.

MTC’s New Play Reading Series offers exciting script-in-hand readings of new plays by emerging playwrights. Readings are followed by a talk-back with the playwright, director and actors.

This developmental workshop was supported by a grant from the National New Play Network's Smith Prize, which commissioned The Ironbound.
